The Ideas Workshop was established in 2013 in Kampala, Uganda by Jonathan Davis as an outreach ministry as part of his missionary mandate. His desire was to disciple young men so that they would grow in their Knowledge of God and seek to serve Him. He also wanted to build a skill into young men so that they could work and take care of themselves and their families. The ministry started with one young man and in the same year another one was added. The project was an instant success as this pioneer group learned their skills very fast and were ready to do some commercial projects in a short time. This group was ready to teach others and share some of the skills they were learning. In 2017 for expansion the workshop shifted to Buwambo in 2017 which now serves as our headquarters at Buwambo Christian Community near YMCA Buwambo Campus in Wakiso District. Today we have since grown to two workshop locations Buwambo and Kajjansi workshop
